I am a professor in the Department of Library Science at Sam Houston State University in Texas where I teach classes in literature for children, tweens, and teens. I have written three professional books and co-authored several as well. I bring more than 30 years of teaching experience to the blog.

Our annual book conferece, named in honor of Dr. Janelle Paris, former faculty member and the initiator of the Texas Bluebinnet Award, will be held in San Antonio this year, the first Saturday of November. Hope to see you there!
