GONE FISHING: A NOVEL IN VERSE by Tamera Will Wissinger with illustrations by Matthew Cordell. Houghton Mifflin, March 2013.
Wissinger takes classic forms of poetry and uses them to tell of a wonderful day fishing with Dad and little sister. Haiku, ballads, insult poems, and many more forms share the wonder and the humor and the disappointment felt by a boy who resents sharing a special day with his little sister until she shows him just how special the day can be for all three of them. <634>
